Note to self - I must read the yarn ball label and ask more questions before buying

As you know, I want all the things I make to be loved and used for many years by the people who wear them, they are not throwaway items, and my choice of yarn reflects this. Some yarns are good, others not so, and I did make a rookie error a few weeks ago when I didn't ask questions on the Facebook group I was buying from, and ended up with yarn that is unsuitable for my needs.


That yarn is being passed on to a friend, but there is a lesson here for me - no matter how nice the yarn looks, always check it it suitable for what you make, and that it suits your ethos, beliefs and values.


It's the same with any choices in life, check that what you are buying is something that truly suits you and your beliefs.
